Ask yourself these few soul searching questions meant to expose your inner desires for the right computer purchase.

Do I care more about portability than I do about viewing and performance?

Can I afford to make frequent repairs?

Do I need to make frequent upgrades to my computer?

Desktops allow you to download more while still processing at a high rate. When you buy a laptop in the same price range as a desktop, you pay for portability and lose a little bit to functionality and performance.

Laptops are surprising versatile though. If you are willing to pay a little more, you can purchase add ons like a second screen to hook up to your notebook computer. You can always install extra memory or replace the battery on a laptop over time.

It all comes down to what you need the most in your price range. Portability or performance?
